Synopsis[]

Amy’s plotting to see if there’s any way she can afford to attend Hudson University in New York City.

Meanwhile, Ben tells Amy not to "milk the teen mother thing" around campus. He also admits that he plans on attending Hudson University, if Amy plans on going there. Amy says she hopes that she and Ben won't be on the same flight home. Then, Ben attempts to pick a fight with Amy, regarding her dreams. He tells her that her dreams ended the minute she first met Ricky, causing Amy to yell at him.

Elsewhere, following on the heels of his session with Dr. Fields, Jack is approached by a lawyer, who presents him with the possibility of suing the school – and Jack is seriously considering it.

Also, Omar gets Adrian to open up a bit about her sex life. Then, he asks her to move to New York with him, and she says that she wants to be her own person for once in her life.

Kathy is talking with Don in her kitchen where he promises not to contact Sonya and Jonathan and to leave their daughter alone. Meanwhile, Ethan confides with Kathy's grandmother, Maritza, that he doesn't trust Don, and she agrees. Ethan tricks Don into admitting that he was going to try to get money from Sonya and Jonathan. Then, Ethan threatens Don to never come back, and Don angrily leaves.

Adrian tells Ricky to wake up and realize that Amy won't be happy until she graduates college, travels the world, gets her own apartment, and experiences other men. When Ricky calls her on the last piece of information, asking her what she means by it and how could she know that, Adrian says that she knows because she's a girl.
