Synopsis[]
Margaret, Ricky‘s foster mom, lays down the ground rules for his birth mother living at their home. No men or women in her bedroom. Margaret has heard that Nora is a lesbian. Meanwhile, Amy convinces Ricky to finally talk to his mother—and let her meet John. There, Nora tells Ricky she indeed has a girlfriend who is a public defender. It’s her first real relationship and she’s happy.
Ashley isn't participating in home school; she‘s just sitting at home instead of going to school. George is trying to figure out what to do with his daughter who is so stuck and frustrated that everyone in her life is having babies instead of being a normal family.
Ben asks Ruben and Cindy if he can have Adrian‘s hand in marriage. While skeptical, Ben‘s effort that he puts into asking Adrian to marry him overwhelms Cindy and she agrees. Ben asks Adrian and she excitedly says yes!
